The consulting company "Dikke International" established on August 31, 1995 is mostly engaged in making translations, providing information services for natural and legal entities in Georgia and outside it, as well as providing juridical services, creation of a computer base of legislative and normative acts of Georgia in English. The aforesaid computer base contains translations of 120 laws of Georgia, including fundamental laws such as the Customs Code, Air, Tax, Civil, Civil Procedure and Labor Codes of Georgia, over 60 regulatory and normative acts of Georgia. Much importance is attached to regular translation of newly adopted alterations, amendments, supplements and addenda to the said above documents and entering thereof into the computer base. The company has become popular enough within a rather short time-period both in Georgia and abroad. This is evidenced by the fact that the biggest banks and commercial organizations of Georgia, most famous legal companies, state bodies such as the Parliament of Georgia, State Chancellery of Georgia, Ministry of Justice, Supreme Court, General Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finance Ministry, Ministry of the Economy, etc. are among its clients. The company's clients are also universally known organizations such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, the UN mission in Georgia, TRACECA, various TACIS projects, World Bank Co-ordination Center of the Ministry of Health, Barents Group, Georgian Oil Corporation, Chevron, Georgian Pipeline Company, Soros Foundation, McDonald's, etc., as well as all diplomatic missions and offices stationed in Georgia. The company has been long known outside Georgia, it established and is maintaining cooperation with a number of legal companies and commercial organizations of Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the USA, Great Britain, Austria, Japan, Turkey. We are pleased to say that the Lloyd's insurance company, which thanked us for high quality translations, is our permanent client. For expansion of the area of activities to cover three districts of the city that mostly need the kinds of services offered by the company, a branch of the company was set up in March, 1999, with employment of additional personnel. For the period of its operation, the company has gained a reputation of a reliable, highly professional and stable organization that carries out clients' orders quickly and on a high quality and professional level. It's much respected and highly appraised by its clients and partners. In the nearest future the company intends to create a database of enterprises and organizations of Georgia that will be fundamentally different from the existing ones in terms of its content, and, no doubt, will be of interest to foreign business circles and meet their information requirements. The draft project, database structure and main directions of work for accomplishing the outlined objective have been developed. We shall spare no effort to further improve and update the computer base of legislative and normative acts.
